A traditional market in a pedestrian area in the Simancas neighbourhood.
Built during the 1950s and occupied by traditional market stalls, this small street-level market stands in a part of Calle de Mieres that is set aside for pedestrians.
In the immediate vicinity are banks and small recreational areas, not to mention a newspaper kiosk, narrow streets and several graffiti.
The filming permits to shoot on the streets of the city of Madrid are managed by the Filming Authorization Bureau. For more information on these permits and how to process them, read the How to film in Madrid page.
