Teatro Bellas Artes
A charming historical theatre in the city centre.
The Teatro Bellas Artes was inaugurated in 1961, and it is located in the same building as the Círculo de Bellas Artes. It is one of the Spain’s historical theatres, and it was once the residence of the Lope de Vega Theatre Company. Since 2005, the space has been managed and directed by the company Pentación Espectáculos.
Completely restored with a modern design, it has a total capacity of 434 people, distributed between the stalls and the amphitheatre.
It is characterised by its distribution over three floors; the theatre is in fact underground and the foyer is on the first floor. It has excellent visibility due to the fact that the room has the same width as the stage opening.
