Calle del Marqués de Lozoya
A small square framed within the encompassing structure of a modern 14-storey block of flats laid out in a curve. The façade has six fire escapes made from maroon coloured metal, which help to increase the building’s sense of verticality.
Near to the street and the residential block, there are green areas and wooden benches, as well as a number of pedestrian ramps and steps that provide different angles and views. From certain points, we can see the Torrespaña telecommunications tower, better known as “El Pirulí” or the Lollipop, a characteristic icon of the Madrid skyline.
