Centro Deportivo Municipal Gallur
A large indoor athletics track in the Latina district.
Gallur Municipal Sports Centre is located in the neighbourhood of Los Cármenes in the south side of the city. It is notable for its impressive indoor athletics track which is located in a two-storey hall with a grandstand that can seat 3000 people.
That it is one of the city’s most important indoor athletics tracks is evidenced by the fact that it hosts top-class sporting events such as the Villa de Madrid Meeting, one of the indoor track tests of the IAAF World Indoor Tour.
The circuit has six lanes, the central track has eight, and there is an extensive warm-up area with five lanes. The entire complex is lit by 80 spotlights and by natural light. The roof of the hall is formed by laminated wooden beams that provide a sensation of spaciousness.
The remaining facilities cover 70,000 square metres that contain a large, 50-metre outdoor pelota court, an indoor swimming pool, a basketball court, a multisport space, an 11-a-side football field with artificial turf, a gymnasium and tennis and paddle tennis courts.

Permit procedure
The Municipal Sport Centres are under the jurisdiction of the Municipal District Boards in which they are located (see contact address).
In order to film in any of their spaces, we recommend consulting availability directly in the sport centre. If there is availability, the application has to be done through a General Normalized Instance addressed to the corresponding Municipal District Boards.
