Jardines de Gregorio Ordoñez

Urban green area in the heart of the Barrio de Salamanca neighbourhood

This is a well cared for garden created in memory of politician Gregorio Ordóñez, located on the corner of Calle Príncipe de Vergara and Calle Juan Bravo.

It has two ample areas for children, where youngsters can enjoy themselves, and its highlight is the rocket-shaped installation, which is why this park is popularly known as the “Parque del Cohete” (Rocket Park). There is also a small pond in the centre, surrounded by different varieties of palm trees.

Surrounded by tall office and residential buildings, this is a characteristic urban green area, in the middle of the Barrio de Salamanca neighbourhood, in a fenced-in area with two entrances, and with partial accessibility for people with reduced mobility.
