Loom Tapices
Loom House Tapices is a work space located in the grounds of the Royal Tapestry Factory, near to Atocha Train Station and El Retiro Park. Modern spaces such as this welcoming co-working area have been added to this historic Neo-Mudéjar building that houses the Royal Factory which was founded in 1721.
The space comprises various rooms that together add up to some 5000 square metres:
- Work units: three functional units fitted with contemporary furniture.
- The Loom Gallery: a narrow open-air space of some 150 square metres, laid out as a garden between buildings, akin to an alleyway.
- An open classical garden with an historic pavilion.
