Nave 16

Nave 16 is a large, versatile and multi-purpose space located within Matadero Madrid. A unique space with an industrial aesthetic and a surface area of more than 4,000 square metres for multidisciplinary projects.

The use of steel doors and its high ceilings allows the space to be divided into three smaller rooms. The rooms vary from 450 to 2,500 square metres. The spaces combine iron columns, exposed brick walls, and wide open-plan areas, as well as ceilings that range from 6 to 16 metres in height.

The refurbishment works preserved the different sized windows and the installation of iron shutters made it possible to exert total control over the lighting, allowing for complete blackouts or playing with natural spotlights.
