Ribera de Curtidores
La Ribera de Curtidores is a tree-lined shopping street laid out along a pronounced slope that leads from Plaza de Cascorro to Paseo de las Acacias.
It is a broad, single-lane street, with generous pavements and parking spaces along both sides. Every Sunday morning it is home to El Rastro flea market, Madrid’s most popular open-air market that always attracts lots of visitors.
Between numbers 13 and 15 of this street stands the Galerías Piquer shopping arcade which has been a popular haunt of tourists in search of antiques since the 1950s.
