Avenida de la Felicidad
An avenue with a boulevard and roundabout that runs from El Espinillo Park to Avenida de Andalucía in the Villaverde district. It runs along the Avenida de la Felicidad 18 children’s playground and nearby buildings include Carme Amaya Professional Dance Conservatory, El Espinillo Health Centre, Villaverde Business Incubator, SAMUR headquarters, and public facilities belonging to Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid.
The ornamental fountain on the roundabout on Avenida de la Felicidad is particularly noteworthy. The sculpture that dominates the fountain was made and donated by sculptor Félix Rubio, and the ensemble was inaugurated in 1999.
