Calles de Deva y de Villabona

In the area known as Poblado Dirigido de Orcasitas, an urban development created as an overspill estate in 1976, there are two urban streets located near to the Galerías Deva shopping arcade.

On and between Calle Deva and Calle Villabona is a block of terraced houses whose layout is in the form of a chessboard with narrow pedestrian lanes running perpendicular to each other. The incorporation of gardens between the houses and groves of trees to surround them fosters an image that is more commonly found in rural areas than in the city, contrasting with the tall buildings of this area of the neighbourhood of Orcasitas.
