Cementerio Sur Carabanchel

South Cemetery of Carabanchel, in the district of the same name, occupies more than 70 hectares and is the capital’s second crematorium.

Recently built, the crematorium is surrounded by gardens and cypresses. There is a small pond in the middle, and the entrance is marked by a wide brick arch, flanked by arcades and columns on either side.
