Ciudad Pegaso
An urban complex in the Rejas district, built in 1955 to house the workers of the nearby Pegaso factory. Despite the constraints of the time, the estate’s many facilities include sports and leisure areas, a commercial centre and a parish church that dominates the main public space.
The variety of housing types is another of its attractions. There are detached single-family houses and apartment blocks of two, four and seven storeys. A formal and conceptual study was proposed for each of these typologies.
Ten years later, a plan was put forward to extend the West Estate towards the south.
