Colonia Fuente del Berro
Set around Fuente del Berro Park in Barrio de Salamanca, it was also known as Colonia Iturbe I, after the developer Gregorio Iturbe who, in 1926, built this housing estate on land of the Fuente del Berro country estate. It takes its name from the old Berro fountain on Calle Gabriel Abreu, next to the park of the same name.
There are more than 150 one- and two-storey houses, built in the colonial romanticism style of the early 20th century. The estate is in a calm and quite street with little traffic or pedestrians. Most of the streets are tree-lined and one-way, with parking on one side.
