Colonia Margarita
The Colonia Margarita housing estate was built in 1949 in the Canillejas neighbourhood of the San Blas District. It originally consisted of 169 houses built by the National Housing Institute and Canillejas Town Council. Recent renovations and extensions have partially affected the original appearance of the complex, which is of great architectural and urbanistic value.
The two- and three-storey exposed brick buildings are arranged in linear blocks that are combined with rows of semi-detached single-family homes.
