Colonia militar
The Military Colony of Campamento, protected in its entirety as a homogeneous complex, dates from 1919 and covers an area of 53,000 square metres. It consists of 95 one-, two- and three-storey semi-detached and terraced houses with front gardens and backyards.
Designed and conceived according to a housing logic characteristic of the socio-economic situation of the time, the estate was intended to house military personnel and their families.
The façades of the group of houses in this estate are characterised by the simplicity of their lines and their regional ornamental details such as semicircular arched porches on the main façade. Hipped roofs and compositional details on the gables are some of their other distinctive features.
