Brutalist building built between 1972 and 1979 of recognised architectural value and catalogued by the Madrid College of Architects as one of the best examples of Brutalism in Spain. It has six floors and three basements, creating a recognisable profile in the University City. In addition to classrooms, the Faculty has 5 assembly halls, television and radio sets, two interior courtyards -one of them landscaped-, a library, etc. It has been the location for films such as Tesis (1996) by the Oscar-winning director Amenábar, several TV series (Netflix), advertising spots, fashion photo shoots, etc. Its iconic concrete walls feature a collection of murals dedicated to cinema and pop culture.
