Rooms with an industrial aesthetic in the project inaugurated by Matadero Madrid
Intermediae is a cultural space dedicated to production and research in the mediation with the city and the community. A centre for artistic creation, promoted by a municipal initiative in the Matadero Madrid contemporary culture complex.
Its refurbishment preserved a considerable amount of its original structure, using industrial materials and endowing the space with spacious open-plan areas and natural light. With a total surface area of 2,700 square metres, its notable spaces are:
- Sala 2, an open-plan, multi-purpose room with a surface area of 1,200 square metres, offering great versatility.
- The Terrario is characterised by its natural light which it owes to its glass walls that make it possible to see the original structure of the building.
