Pasajes en Calle de Alfonso Carbonell

There are two vaulted passageways on Calle de Alfonso Carbonell, in the district of Arganzuela. One leads from Calle de Alonso Carbonell to Plaza de José Villareal and the other to Plaza Rutilio Gacís.

Both squares create a quadrangular space with large parterres and trees in the centre, flanked by the Beata María Ana de Jesús Parish Church, built in 1952.

The basket-handle arches are integrated into a block of flats built in the 1950s which, thanks to their uniformity, provide an interesting perspective of the area in which they are located. To the south, Colonia de Pico del Pañuelo can be seen.
