Ogami Press
Ogami Press is an original graphic arts workshop located in Glorieta
del Marqués de Vadillo, in what is now considered Madrid’s artists’ quarter. Ogami Press is a space for the production, publication, and dissemination of graphic art, created in Madrid in 2009 with a cross-disciplinary and regenerative character. We carry out our work in three main areas:
as a center for the production and printing of graphic art; as a publisher of graphic art; and as a gallery and showroom.
Located next to Madrid Río and with direct access to the M-30, it has an entrance at number 11 and access via the courtyard at number 12. It has a loading/unloading bay. The premises consist of a main area at street level, which can be accessed either through the entrance or through a 46 m² private garden courtyard. This space opens onto the courtyard with sliding doors, allowing large items to be brought in. The courtyard has a water supply and drainage. Inside is the workshop space with a storage room, toilet, and open kitchen. The ceiling height exceeds 4m. Much of the furniture has wheels so it can be moved, but not the machinery (presses).
