Teatro Reina Victoria

A century-old Modernist theatre in the centre of the capital

The Reina Victoria Theatre is located in the heart of Madrid, next to the Puerta del Sol. Inaugurated in 1916 with a unique Modernist façade, stunning stained glass windows by the Maison Maumejean and mosaics from Talavera de la Reina, the theatre dates back to the beginning of the 20th century.

It is able to seat an audience of 600, 446 in the stalls and the rest distributed between the circle and the boxes. The interior has been completely refurbished, although the stalls still retain a skylight.
