Real Academia Nacional de Farmacia

A neoclassical building declared a Site of Cultural Interest

The Spanish Royal Academy of Pharmacy is an academic institute whose purpose is to further research and studies on pharmaceutical sciences and their related fields. It is located in a building in Chueca that was constructed in 1830 in sections that follow the curved path of the street.

It is a neoclassical-style building with a symmetrical layout, to which a triangular pediment on the main cornice and a second entrance way have been added. It has several spaces for filming, including modern meeting rooms and traditional neoclassical halls, with adjacent areas and offices also available.

The museum is particularly noteworthy and has several collections, items, documents and all types of materials related to the history of pharmacy in Spain. There are also several roof terraces with views of the centre of the city.
