Madrid Film Office is a public service of Madrid City Council whose mission is to promote the city as a filming destination, offer advice to any company or professional who plans to develop their project in Madrid, support the local industry and stimulate local investment.

Annual reports 2025
In 2025, Madrid consolidated its position as a filming location by shooting 71 films. The city also served as the backdrop for 52 television series and more than 410 commercials, demonstrating a strong commitment to international productions. The Madrid Film Office provided over 4,115 specific assistance services that year, marking an increase of almost 7% compared to the previous year. The same year, the Madrid City Council processed 11,001 applications for filming on public roads via the Filming Authorisations Office.

National, international projects and co-productions filmed in Madrid, as in the rest of the Spain’s common territory, can access a tax deduction on Corporation Tax up to 30%, with a maximum refund of 10 million.
