He studied film at the Complutense University and at the EICTV (Cuba). In addition to making films, he has also developed an important activity as a film programmer. His works range from the experimental: '...al principio fue el viaje' (2008) to the multi-awarded documentary 'Mujer como árbol' (work sponsored by Pedro Costa). A Garden Area Too Quiet (to be released in 2022) will be his first film.

Description
Luis Muñoz Cubillo, alias: Soto. Born in the year 2000 in Baena (Córdoba). Currently residing in Madrid.
His cinema is characterized primarily by the use of rural areas as settings. Interested in decentralized production models, he films his movies suffused with an escapist aura in contrast to urban frenzy. His work addresses themes such as absence, memory, or adolescent drift, inevitably imbued with traces of magical realism and phantasmagoria inherited from Ibero-American literature.

Description
Photographer experienced in performing arts, film productions and cultural events.
With a background in media, documentary and visual storytelling, I´m passionate about multidisciplinary projects. I have worked in collaboration with independent artists from the fields of design, music, dance and performance, as well as international festivals, such as the Edinburgh International Film Festival or the TIFF Photo Festival in Wroclaw.
I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Advertising and PR from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a BA Degree in Professional Photography from Edinburgh College.
