I studied Technology in secondary school, Performing Arts in high school, and a Higher Degree in Lighting, Image Capture, and Processing. During my degree, I made short films, corporate videos, music videos, news reports, interviews, concerts, documentaries, and commercials, working as a director, director of photography, camera operator (mainly), camera assistant, gaffer, best boy, producer, assistant producer, and still photographer. I have been working at RTVE for over a year as a photojournalist.

My name is María, and I am a photographer and videographer with over ten years’ experience. I have worked on countless film shoots, advertising campaigns, documentaries and music videos. In fiction, I have worked as a still photographer on multi-award-winning short films such as ‘Tumbas vecinas’ by Inania Studios and ‘All you need is Love’ by La Favorita Produce, directed by Dany Ruz, which won the Carmen Award for Best Short Film in 2026.

Recently graduated from MetFilm School in London, where I specialized in cinematography and camera operation. In my recent projects, I have worked with a variety of cameras and equipment and hold Steadicam operator certification with CEI school. In addition to speaking three languages (English, Spanish, and Italian), this has allowed me to collaborate on international productions and easily adapt to different crews and working environments.
